South Korea – Implementation of Korea e-Arrival Card

The Republic of Korea e-Arrival card system has implemented on 24 February 2025.
The e-Arrival card allows the visitors to submit entry information online in advance through the e-Arrival card website up to 3 days before arrival in Korea, instead of the current paper arrival form system. Current paper arrival form system is still available until December 2025. Visitors may choose to submit either paper or electronic declaration form.
All foreign nationals entering the Republic of Korea are required to submit the entry declaration form (e-Arrival card). However, the following individuals are exempted from submitting the entry declaration form:
- Citizens of the Republic of Korea
- Registered residents in Korea (including Permanent Resident Card and Overseas Korean Resident Card holders)
- Valid K-ETA approval holders
- Airline crew members
