Singapore issues travel advisory for Jammu & Kashmir and Pakistan

Singaporeans have been advised to defer all non-essential travel to Jammu and Kashmir in India, as well as to Pakistan, in view of the volatile situation in the region.

Travellers should exercise caution, especially at the border regions between Pakistan and India, said Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in an advisory.

Singaporeans in India and Pakistan are advised to remain vigilant and take all necessary safety measures, including avoiding large gatherings, monitoring local news, following instructions from local authorities, and eRegistering with MFA.
