New Zealand opens to vaccinated travellers from visa waiver countries

Following recent changes to the country’s entry and arrival requirements, fully vaccinated travellers from visa-waiver countries, including Singapore, can now enter New Zealand.
Here is a summary of what you need to do to travel to New Zealand.
Step 1 – Travellers from visa waiver countries must request for a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) before travel. Information about NZeTA
Step 2 – Ensure you meet New Zealand’s vaccination requirements.
Step 3 – Complete the New Zealand Travel Declaration before travelling and be issued a New Zealand Traveller Pass.
Step 4 – Get your pre-departure test. Plan when to get your test and results as they must be:
- no more than 24 hours before you depart if you have a supervised RAT or supervised LAMP test
- no more than 48 hours before you depart if you have a PCR test
Step 5 – Upon arrival, traveller will be given a welcome pack that includes two rapid antigen test (RAT) kits for self-tests on Day 0/1 and Day 5/6.
