Effective 01 October 2025, holder of valid Myanmar passport are exempted from visa requirements from short-term social visits to Malaysia. The maximum duration of stay permitted under this exemption is 14 days.

It should be noted that visa exemption does not guarantee entry into Malaysia, as entry is subject to approval of the immigration officer at the designated enter and exit points.
